Great review of WomanCare: "Dr. Lupo and the nurses at WomanCare made me feel like a normal person"

I have a case of "white coat syndrome," and tend to be afraid of most doctors. I was terrified going to the gyn, but Dr. Lupo and the nurses at WomanCare made me feel like a normal person. The rooms are not the scary white sterile rooms that I was used to, and the staff seemed genuinely interested in answering my questions and talking about my health. I still get nervous going, but the staff is really good about making me feel calm.

I've been a patient here since 2008 and I love this practice. Great doctors - especially Dr. Lupo for GYN. I'm currently 28 weeks pregnant, and each doctor I've met with takes the time to answer my questions, provide plenty of information, and help me feel more informed about my own care. I find the office to be very efficient and rarely have I ever had to wait more than 5-10 minutes past my appointment time. Highly recommend!

You know how when you have a doctors appointment, you always go in expecting to be seen about 10-15 minutes after your appointment time? Yeah, I'm always about 10-15 minutes early, and consistently leave BEFORE my appointment time because I was seen early! Every staff member there is great (there was one crotchety nurse, but I haven't seen her in a year or so, so 5 stars!) they truly try to make your experience as comfortable as possible. I love my doctor, I don't care that I have to make my appointments 2 months in advance (if I tell you which doctor, I'm afraid that will jump to 3!) I went to womancare on recommendation from a friend, and have no problem referring others. They are great.

I have been with Womancare for about 6 years and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. They were with me every step of the way through 3 births and everything in between!

I have been going to WomanCare PC since I was 18 years old. Dr. Dominicis has been my doctor for 10 years now. He is wonderful and I trust him completely. He recently helped me through one of the hardest times in my life, a miscarriage. My husband and I were beside ourselves the day we heard the bad news. I broke down in his office and he had the best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever been to! The compassion in his voice was a good reassurance to me during such a dark time. He is very thorough in his explanations and takes the time to answer all questions. (I did have a period of time when I questioned why a second round of blood work wasn't done, but after much research and A LOT of reflection, I realized that it was not needed and quickly reassured myself that I trusted him completely.) Since I was unable to miscarry naturally (I waited 1.5 weeks per my request), I had to call back and schedule my D&C. The scheduling process was extremely easy. The scheduling nurse did everything. The day of my surgery was hard. As I was in the surgical prep room, Dr. Dominicis came in to see how I was doing. He ended up staying for quite a while and talked to us and reassured my husband and I that everything was going to be ok. He really put me at ease when he grabbed my hand and told me he was there for us. I do have to throw in a big kudos to Northwest Community Hospital too. Everything there went very well and it was a very nice facility. I loved the nurse that prepped me before surgery (I wish I could remember her name!) My husband and I look forward to conceiving again in the near future, and I will definitely be going back to WomanCare PC when I do! I know once I carry a healthy pregnancy, I have to go see all the doctors in the practice. I will be honest though and say I REALLY REALLY hope that Dr. Dominicis can be the one to deliver our baby. I will be sad if he isn't on call at that time, but will be confident knowing I am in good hands and amongst a great bunch of respectable doctors. I should probably add that I have never had a problem with any of my annual visits, tests, wait times, billing, etc. I am sure to call ahead of time to schedule my annual visits and always seem to get in when it works best for my schedule. I have briefly seen Dr. Kahan & Dr. Goldin and thought they were great too. All-in-all, WomanCare PC is wonderful and Dr. Dominicis gets a gold star in my book. Thank you for being there for me during the hardest time in my life. I would like to add...be your own advocate and ALWAYS do your research, be prepared for every visit, ask questions and find out your options. Not every doctor is right for every person. So, find a doctor that is right for you and fits a lot of your philosophy on medicine.
