Mona Gomaa, M.D. has completed a Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship at Stanford in California.
Dr. Gomaa earlier completed an Ob/Gyne Residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit where she was Chief Administrative Resident during her final year. She then completed the prestigious Stanford Program for Minimally Invasive Surgery. She was trained by Dr. Camran Nezhat, MD, who is an internationally renowned laparoscopic surgeon, scientist, and innovator at Stanford University Medical Center, in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Gomaa is also an expert in minimally invasive and robotic surgery—she performs procedures which are unique and exciting. She brings a unique expertise to our practice and our community. She also loves obstetrics and enjoys taking care of pregnant women and delivering babies.
Dr. Gomaa has great communication skills, she is pleasant and likable, she is a hard worker and she also speaks Arabic. Dr. Gomaa is married to a computer software consultant and has a six year old son.
